Victoria Truitt, MSN, FNP-BC
Victoria began her nursing career in 2019 after earning her Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) from the Community College of Baltimore County, where she participated in the Associates to Bachelors (ATB) dual enrollment program with Towson University. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Towson University and later earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Purdue Global University, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Victoria’s clinical journey started on an Adult Medical-Surgical/Oncology Unit, where she developed a strong foundation in acute care. In 2020, she transitioned into her dream specialty—pediatrics—by joining the Pediatric Emergency and Inpatient Unit at GBMC. During her time in FNP school, she continued to broaden her experience, working as a Pediatric Home Care Nurse in 2022 and later at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2023 on an Adolescent Medical-Surgical Unit. There, she cared for patients from diverse backgrounds with both acute and chronic conditions.
Victoria was born and raised in Edgewood, Maryland, and is a proud graduate of Harford Technical High School, where she first earned her CNA and GNA certifications and discovered her passion for nursing. While pursuing her nursing degrees, she worked at Waffle House—where her go-to meal was hashbrowns “scattered, smothered, and covered.”
Victoria has a strong interest in preventive medicine and is dedicated to empowering patients and families through education on healthy lifestyle choices that encompass physical, emotional, and mental well-being. She is passionate about helping individuals build sustainable habits that support long-term health and wellness.
Outside of her professional life, Victoria enjoys spending quality time with loved ones, hiking local trails with her cockapoo Rosie, reading, and working out at Orange Theory Fitness. She brings warmth, empathy, and a proactive approach to the families she serves, aiming to make a lasting impact on the health of her community.
